Our History

We pride ourselves in knowing our customers’ wants and needs and turning their vision into a living reality.
  1. 1997Remodeling by Classic Homes was founded by Sue and Gary Juran as Classic Homes Inc NW to build new homes in the Salem area
  2. 2003Their son, Kyle Juran, started Remodeling by Classic Homes as well as helping with the new homes and providing excellent home remodeling, handyman work, new home construction.
  3. 2011Gary Juran closed Classic Homes Inc NW and semi-retired leaving the new construction as well as the remodeling to be managed by Kyle under Remodeling by Classic Homes.
  4. 2017The company moved to its current location at 4195 River Rd and added a new design studio with many tile, counter tops, flooring, carpet, and cabinet samples for their customers to choose from.
  5. 2018Kyle’s daughter, Claire Juran, joined the company as the new interior design consultant. Claire grew up watching her Grandmother Sue pick out materials and colors for the new homes and remodeling projects and has grown into the interior design side of the business along with taking interior design classes.
